The Career and College Promise program offers educational opportunities for high school students that lead to college credits and/or certificates amd job training. To learn more about the program before applying click the link below:

CCP Program

Once you have decided that CCP is right for you, follow the 4 steps below. This application process is ONLY for current high school students enrolling in the CCP program. Get started today!

If you are a public high school student, start by scheduling an appointment with your high school guidance counselor of Career Development Coordinator. They will help walk you through the process and connect you with your SCC liaison.

Private High School, Home School, and Out-of-County Students should reach out directly to the SCC liaison.

Once you have met with your counselor of CCP liasion, you will complete the application below. Your CCP liaison will provide you with any required information you need for this process, including your Residency Certification Number.

All students receive an online account while attending SCC. Your SCC username and password will be used for all four accounts:

Canvas: Online Learning Environment
Self-Service: Registration, Academic, and Financial Aid Information
SCC E-Mail: Online Communication
MyPage: Customized Advisor/Coach Information/ Alerts, Academic Schedule, and more

You can find your SCC username by going to /whats-my-username

You will be brought to the page shown below. Enter in your first and last name, and either your SSN or 7-digit student ID number.

When you click "Submit" you will be brought back to a page that lists your student username and student email address. You can use this email address for our SCC services such as your student Gmail, Canvas, and Self-Service.

Multi-Factor Authentication

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) adds security to your SCC student account by adding an extra verification step to protect your identity and information. 

After you register, you will be able to add a safe and secure two-step verification method for your SCC student account credentials. You can choose from a range of authentication options (such as phone call, text message, or mobile app notification) to access SCC applications (such as Canvas, Gmail, Self-Service, and more).

Orientation is required for every newly admitted student and provides a great introduction to SCC, Career & College Promise, and your pathway of choice. Orientation for curriculum students is currently available in an online format and takes approximately two hours to complete.

To complete orientation online, click the link below, log into Canvas using your SCC username and password, and press the Enroll In Course" button, and fully complete all 4 modules.
